Ultimate Reese’s Snack Mix

Hello, everyone! With trick or treating and Halloween parties right around the corner — I’m thrilled to share a delicious treat with you here on Mommy on Demand. This snack recipe is sure to wow well after the costumes are put away.

Today, I’m sharing with you one of my favorite snack mixes that my 3 kids and I love to munch on. My Ultimate Reese’s Snack Mix is the perfect snack for when you’re craving salty & sweet!

There are many things that I love about this snack mix, but the part I love most is the fact that it is so EASY to make! All it really requires is a mixing bowl, a single measuring cup, and a big spoon to mix with. It is really fun to make with kids, and great to have on hand for when you are looking for a yummy salty-sweet treat. I actually like to stash this mix in little snack-sized zip lock bags, to keep in my purse. They make for perfect after-school snacks in the car, or post-football-practice snacks when the kids need to refuel.

I also love the fact that this mix is great for both kids and grown-ups! Last weekend, we had a little gathering of friends over, and we made this snack mix. The kids enjoyed the mix and when they went home they took the rest with them. Sure enough, a few days later I heard from one of the dads saying, “That snacky-stuff that you made with the kids sure was good!” Its great to take to work to share in your work breakroom, or stash in your desk when you want a little mid-afternoon treat.

Here’s how easy this Ultimate Reese’s Snack Mix comes together:

Ultimate Reese’s Snack Mix Ingredients:

• 3 c. Butter Snap Pretzels (or any other medium sized pretzel)
• 3 c. Chocolate Cheerios
• 1 c. lightly salted, dry roasted peanuts
• 1 c. mini chocolate chips
• 1 c. Reese’s Pieces candies
• 1 c. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup mini’s

Ultimate Reese’s Snack Mix Instructions:

• In a large mixing bowl, measure in each ingredient. Mix all the ingredients together to combine. Store in an air tight container at room temperature. Makes approximately 20, ½ cup servings. Prep time: 5-10 minutes
